Login or Password Issues for Any of My Sites

by Eric

If you are having trouble logging into the member area of any of my sites, there are a few possible causes and solutions.

First, note that the LOGIN page is different from the SIGN UP page. If you try entering a second time from the sign up page, the system will tell you that your email is already in the database.

To get to the LOGIN page, click the "Member Login" link, or go to login.php instead of signup.php - For example:

http://10-free-ebooks.com/download/login.php
http://www.writingcash.com/members/login.php
http://www.auctionsprofit.com/download/login.php
http://www.howtosellhosting.com/download/login.php

Next, make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. If cookies are not enabled, you will not be able to log in. To view instructions for enabling cookies, please see:

http://www.google.com/cookies.html

If cookies are enabled, and you are unable to login, it could be a corrupt cookie or browser caching issue. Please clear your cookies/cache and try again. In some instances you might need to reboot your PC.

If you are unable to remember your password, please use the password retrieve function on the login page. Using this function will automatically change your password and email the new password to you. If you do not receive the email, please make sure the site's email address is on your SAFE LIST. The site's email address is noreply@sitename.com (for example if the site name is 10-free-ebooks.com, then the email address is noreply@10-free-ebooks.com). Try retrieving it again after putting the email address on your safe list.

If you attempt to retrieve your password, but do not receive the email, then you will need to open a support ticket so that I can manually change your password and send it to you. I will post your new password into the ticket. In order to change your password, I will need to know the email address you used when you joined the site.

Alternatively, you could just sign up again with a different email address. Please don't make a habit of it, but it will probably save some time if you just do it that way.

Other notes: Keep in mind that your password is CaSe SeNsItIvE, so be sure to type it exactly as you set it.
